Karkalla is a winner of the Earth Category and was tasted by the National Judging panel, which included: Alla Wolf-Tasker, Andrew McConnell, Peter Gilmore, Matt Moran, Josh Niland, Matt Stone, Jo Barrett, Lennox Hastie and Danielle Alvarez.
Karkalla, which is apart of our recently launched Native Foods with Currie Country range, is a much-loved Australian food. The team are proud of the achievement and excited for the future of the native food space.
In August, each punnet of Karkalla distributed to wholesale agent and providore customers, will have a little ‘gold medal’ label stuck on top… We hope this helps create a talking point between you and your customers around the product and award.
